May I See Like A Child

So, I am stealing this from Nathen Aswell’s chant from the Twelve Powers Club because it spoke to me.  I am becoming more and more in touch among my inner child through personal reflection and a class I am taking called Uncovering and Embracing Soul Power.  My teacher is making me more and more aware of my inner child and how to embrace her.  I am aware of how fast she grew up and how she was the peacemaker in the family.  I was the one who took on “making things right” from a very early age.  I have been aware of this for a very long time, but now I am embracing this truth.  I am coming to spiritually UNDERSTAND what this means and how it has impacted my adult life.  And I am so grateful for my awakening and illumination of this truth.

In case you didn’t realize it, I am stealing some of the words I have become to understand from the first chapter of the 12 Powers Club.  From Rev. Linda Martella-Whitsett’s podcast to Nathen Aswell’s Morning Musing on the Power of Understanding.  And I will close this with Nathen’s beautiful chant.

I am grateful for the amazing creation of the 12 Powers Club and if you haven’t joined yet …

“My understanding of truth- deepens and directs my life.
Nothing’s to be feared – only understood.
May I see like a child.”
