STYROFOAM COLLECTION - SUN APR 21, APR 28 & MAY 5
The one type of plastic that is impossible to responsibly recycle in your curbside pick up is Styrofoam! It’s definitely not earth-friendly and takes years to decompose in the environment. In honor of Earth Day on April 22, we’ll be collecting your Styrofoam here at Unity and taking it to a local manufacturer that can reprocess it into other products, like picture frames and crown molding! Please start saving your Styrofoam now! If you’re not sure if it qualifies, look for the #6 on the packaging. And if it’s been in contact with food, please wash thoroughly. No straws, lids, or plastic wrap, and no foam insulation or packing peanuts. We will be accepting it at Unity on April 21, April 28 and May 5.
Will you help us drop off styrofoam after church on May 5th at Dart Container Corp located at 310 Evergreen Dr in North Aurora? For questions or if you’d like to help deliver Styrofoam for recycling, email admin@UnityInNaperville.org.

MONTHLY MONDAY MEDITATION - ONLINE MON FEB 26, MAR 18, APR 29 at 7pm (CT)
Starting a meditation practice can feel daunting on your own…which style do you choose? How do you stay focused? How do you know if you’re “doing it right?” It’s certainly easy to give up too soon before you establish a habit. But the benefits of regular meditation are extraordinary and can strengthen you physically, mentally and emotionally. Most importantly, meditation is what allows us to experience a conscious oneness with God, allowing us to hear our Inner Wisdom, be more compassionate and become more creative. If you’d like some guidance in meditation or a chance to ask questions, why not join Rev. Kitty at this new Monthly Monday Meditation session. Each month we’ll try out a different form of meditation for about 15 minutes with time before and after to explore the benefits, ask questions, and discuss experiences. If you’re an experienced meditator we’d love to hear about your practice…and joining us will help get your week off to a good start, feeling more centered and energized. Love offerings are appreciated. No registration required. The Meditation will begin at 7:10pm, so please arrive beforehand as we will not be letting people into the Zoom room once the meditation starts.

Join Rev. Kitty for this 4-week Zoom class on Christian Sundberg’s book “A Walk in the Physical.” (See below for how to order the book or read it free online). Christian tells his story about having a sudden memory of his life as a spiritual being before beginning his current earthly life. This book is a result of his reawakening and shares how the spiritual dimension intertwines with our lives here and now. It’s not written as a linear narrative but a collection of bite-sized essays that address some of life’s most important challenges and wondrous spiritual truths. This book is meaty and even advanced students will learn something new. Rev. Kitty will assign selected readings each week and also invite the students to make suggestions. Before the first class, please read the Introduction section.

BUNCO!!! A NIGHT FOR SOCIALIZING WITH YOUR UNITY PEEPS! - FRI MAY 3 at 7pm
Bunco is a dice game that has been around since the 1800s. It has very simple rules, and allows for plenty of time to talk and get to know each other. All are welcome, and we will begin with a quick lesson on how to play. There will be 3 rounds of 6 games, and you will switch tables between rounds. So you get to spend time with many of the people there by the end of the night.Bunco will be held at Unity in Naperville, 1600-C Shore Rd, Naperville, IL 60543. Please bring snacks to share and a $2 entry fee is asked to fund the prize pot, so please bring cash. GRAND OPENING – UNITY COMMUNITY CAFÉ! SUN MAY 5 at Noon – INVITE A FRIEND!!
Most of our regular attendees have had a chance to watch our CommUnity Café come to life, but after we’ve finished all the final installations, we’d like to invite the public to come take a look…so please save the date! We’ll be reaching out to those who live in the area and subscribe to the Daily Word to let them know there’s a Unity community in their area, complete with a new Café! We’ll have lots of food, drink, and special surprises that day and we’d love for you to be part of it. We’d also like you to be thinking about a friend who would appreciate learning about Unity’s positive path for spiritual living and reach out to them now to invite them. We’ll be putting a few teams together to help with food, décor, and more so keep your eye on the E-news and the sign-up sheets at Unity and help us create an amazing grand opening of our new café! (Ssshhhh – rumor has it, that’s Cinco de Mayo and it’s just possible a Taco Bar will be part of the fun…don’t miss it!!)

Kitty and friends in this special Zoom room to meet and greet, talk about the Service, and let us know how we can better support you online. There’s no set agenda, but a moderator will keep things lively, so come to share, make friends, or just to listen in for a half hour or so.
