Find Your Inner Puppy

There is nothing like a new puppy in the house to make you appreciate the concept of “being present”.  This spring, I adopted an 8-week-old miniature poodle puppy whom I named Freddie Weasley (after the character in Harry Potter).  Like his namesake, Freddie is a real jokester and is joyfully into everything – he has a particular preference for shredding paper and digging holes.  Like all small beings, they are good at reminding you to put your phone down and pay attention!  He reminds me that it’s the small things in life that can be so much fun, and I laugh as he chases butterflies or dances as he tries to catch his shadow.  I challenge you all to find your inner puppy and find the joy in life.
