Todd Dietz – Letter to Myself

Happy New Year Unity Family!

I just wanted to comment how thoroughly I appreciated our burning bowl ceremony on New Year ’s Eve. Reverend Kitty did a wonderful job guiding us through the meditations to help identify first, the things in our lives we want to release, and next, the things in our lives that we want to see materialize.

I thought it was a powerful exercise to actually write down on paper the things in my life I want to release, and then place that paper in the burning bowl. Seeing the paper flame out and totally disappear was a great analogy and visual for those things being “released”.

I also enjoyed gaining enough clarity for what I want to see materialize in my life that I was able to specify those things in a letter to myself. I am looking forward to receiving that letter at year’s end and review how much (if not all) has been realized in my life. I know that by keeping a positive attitude, and employing the lessons learned from Reverend Kitty throughout the year, all of the good and healthy things I desire in my life are possible.

All the best in the New Year!

Blessings,

Todd
