The Power of Awareness

When we think of awareness, we usually think of being more aware of God in our lives; The divine, creative and life-giving intelligence of Spirit in everything and in everyone.

Being aware can be a powerful tool to the human side of our lives as well.

I stopped telling my kids what to do and started suggesting they be aware of how they feel after they eat, after they exercise (or not), after being kind or being self-centered. I suggested being aware if the kids they hang out with, make them better people.

How we choose to treat our bodies, all living creatures, this planet we live on, and each other affects how all those things feel and express. Awareness of this ‘order’ gives us knowledge and power to adjust our choices and create how this world expresses to us.
