Shine

My Creageous Writer friends encouraged me to share Saturday’s writing in my Board Blurb, so here it is. And since I already wrote it in my notebook, all I have to do is type it now.   Our prompt word was SHINE.

“This little light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine, this little light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine…”  has been my mantra for more years than I can remember.  “Let it shine, let it shine, let it shine.”

When I went to another Unity many years before I discovered Unity in Naperville, hearing the message, I came more in touch with the light in me, in my heart space.  I truly have been evolving and it always comes back to the light within me.

Having discovered Unity in Naperville 3 years ago, I knew that I was where I needed to be.  From the warmth, beauty, and message, and yes, the light in Kitty, I knew I was home.  And the music of the Highest Good Band, there were the songs,  the warmth, the beauty, and, yes, the light shining brightly from their collective hearts—- and from each individual heart.

And I can’t leave out each and every person I have been blessed to be in the presence of. Each one has his/her special light that shines brightly from their heart.

My Unity Peeps, keep your lights shining brightly
