I Got the Power!

This past Sunday, I left the service chanting to myself “I Got The Power!!”  Yes indeed, we learned from Kitty anew about the 12 Powers we have as divine beings made in God’s image.

While we may pour over the intricacies of these aspects of our divine gift, at their core is One Power.  Our simple (not always easy) knowing of Its presence within us grants us the power to create our own reality.  And guess what?   That means me and that means you!!  As our awareness of our own divinity deepens and becomes more a part of our daily lives, we begin to operate from it more easily and more often.  In this lies our power to create that which enriches us and animates our expression.

In “Words That Heal Today”, Ernest Holmes points out that “the living Spirit is incarnated in every man/woman’s soul; the entire nature of the Divine Being is bequeathed to us; there is a law of spiritual authority which is at our command”.   Let’s claim our own Power.  Let’s begin again in this New Year to be all we were created to be!!!  Then we can all say “I Got The Power” or more accurately “I AM the Power!!”.
