Annual Unity Picnic 2024!

2024 UNITY ANNUAL PICNIC – SUN SEP 29 AT HERRICK LAKE FOREST PRESERVE WEST PAVILION

We are once again going to hold our annual Unity picnic on Sunday September 29th, after services (~12:30pm) at Herrick Lake Forest Preserve’s west parking lot pavilion (click the link for directions).  EVERYONE should bring a side dish or a dessert to share.  Unity will provide the main dish (grilled and fried chicken) and drinks.  Water, iced tea and lemonade will be available or bring your own drinks. Per forest reserve regulation, no alcohol is permitted. Picnic tables are provided but you might also want to bring your own chair/blanket, etc.  We will provide some outdoor games for those who wish to be active, or you can just hang out and talk!  There is a sign-up sheet in the lobby.  Please let us know how many adults and kids will be attending so that we know how much chicken to buy.  You can also RSVP and order raffle tickets using the online form below. In case of inclement weather, the picnic will be held at Unity in Naperville, 1600-C Shore Rd, Naperville, IL 60563.

We are selling raffle tickets after the Sunday service in the lobby and online to fund purchase of the chicken.  This will be a “split the pot” raffle, with half of the proceeds going to the winner.  Tickets are $1 each, 6 for $5.00, 12 for $10.00.

Please RSVP if you plan to attend the picnic:
