The Power of the Word

As I booted up my laptop last night to write my Board Blurb, at the last minute, of course, I had no internet!!  So, I ran the network diagnostics, to no avail.  So I made my call to Xfinity, and they did a reset.  So I waited (and finished watching Station 19), got tired and went to bed.  OOPS!  Looks like I won’t get this in on Sunday night….the deadline.

I got up this morning and was doing my morning meditation.  I’m not going to lie to you, this was the first day in this new habit I am developing.  And after focusing on breathing and reading The Daily Word, I remembered the Blurb was overdue.  So I booted up my computer, and Lo and Behold, NO INTERNET….still!!  Another call to Xfinity, but I knew one thing they would have me do was to unplug my modem and router, so I did that before I had a techie help me.  I made the call and got a very nice woman named Ram G, and after some of the typical “nice” conversation they are trained to do, and to prolong the process of getting the problem solved, I hit the Google Chrome icon and lo and behold, my internet was back in business.  I gave Ram G all the credit that just having her on the line supporting me had fixed the problem!  Then I confessed to her that I had unplugged my router and modem.  But she was so appreciative of having a nice lady on the other end of the phone line for her first “case of the day.”  And that, my friends, is THE POWER OF THE WORD.
