Kitty Benson Laughing min

Rev. Kitty Benson is a graduate of Unity Institute and ordained as a Unity minister through Unity Worldwide Ministries in 2006.  After completing seminary, she founded Unity in Naperville (outside Chicago), which she continues to lead today.  Unity in Naperville is a vibrant, inclusive community for personal growing and joyful knowing of our oneness with Spirit and each other. Prior to her call to ministry, Rev. Kitty spent many years working in the fields of broadcasting, technology, and human resources. Kitty’s lifelong spiritual path has also included an upbringing in the American Baptist theology and several years in the Pentecostal movement, which first introduced her to healing prayer.

During the last several years, Kitty has felt a calling to emphasize the healing work of Unity’s founders, Charles and Myrtle Fillmore, in her ministry. After practicing spiritual healing for herself, she now teaches classes and leads in-person and online healing services, where people can learn about Unity’s healing principles as well as experience the practice of healing prayer. Kitty’s weekly Sunday Services also include positive messages that focus on loving others unconditionally, connecting with our Inner Wisdom, expressing from God’s infinite abundance, and revealing our creative potential in daily life. To get a feel for Rev. Kitty’s approach to ministry, check out her past Sunday messages on our Unity in Naperville YouTube channel.  You can also sign up to receive her twice-monthly “New Thoughts” e-news.
