An Online Zoom Workshop facilitated by Marti Beddoe
Saturday, April 23, 2022 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Love Offering: $15 to $20

You are invited to a SoulCollage® workshop where you will explore the Power of Release or Letting Go. This workshop is designed to be a restful, welcoming oasis of quiet self-exploration. It will be a chance for you to pause and explore the deep well of wisdom within. Below, you will find the Registration Form and Marti’s notes about how to prepare.

You will enjoy a harmonious, hands-on communal experience of the SoulCollage® process by creating at least one SoulCollage® card reflecting the theme of The Power of Release or Letting Go. Absolutely no art experience is necessary! Anyone who is able to use a scissors and glue can create beautiful cards, enjoy sharing them with others, and use them to enhance their own intuitive wisdom.

Founded by Seena B. Frost in the 1990’s, SoulCollage® is an expressive arts practice that can be done individually or in community. SoulCollage® is a simple, fun, engaging, and deeply illuminating process that involves creative play, self-care, and personal reflection.

Facilitator Marti Beddoe, Founder of Designs for Peace, is a self-taught artist, writer, and meditation teacher in the Kriya Yoga tradition. After two years of making SoulCollage® cards with friends, she was trained in 2007 as a Facilitator by Seena B. Frost, the originator of SoulCollage®. Since then, Marti’s world has changed for the better as she assists others to discover and appreciate the depths of their own wisdom through the SoulCollage® process!

A special note from Marti…

Dear Friends,

I look forward to sharing a restful time of quiet self-exploration with you on Saturday morning, April 23. In this SoulCollage® workshop, you will receive a hands-on experience of the SoulCollage® process by creating at least one SoulCollage® card that focuses on the theme, “The Power of Release.Let your intuition guide you as you reflect upon what this theme means to you at this time in your life.

The practice of Release is one of the 12 spiritual powers taught by Unity Church. You might want to read this article as you explore the theme for yourself.

Leading up to the workshop, you will receive a few surprises to prompt your reflection, as well as links to the workshop. We will begin the workshop with a brief orientation to the SoulCollage® method. Then there will be a good amount of time for card making. You will also have time to share the card(s) you made if you wish. You will also receive a handout to supplement and guide your understanding of SoulCollage® going forward.

What to bring:  ***Scissors and glue can be found at Michael’s or JoAnn Fabrics or Amazon.com.

  • Images.  Most important to begin gathering as soon as you register! Be on the lookout for a minimum of 20-30 images related to the “Power of Release” theme. Your experience will be deeper and richer if you give yourself plenty of time to gather images for making your cards.
  • Glue sticks or Rubber Cement.  Rubber cement works fine but you have to tolerate the fumes. Many SoulCollage® Facilitators find that the Pioneer Square Dual Edge Photo Glue Stick is the best brand to use.
  • 5”X8” cards.  For your first SoulCollage® cards, it’s fine to use poster board, mat board or index cards cut into the 5X 8 size.
  • A journal and pen.

It will be a joy to share this wonderful process with you!
