Gordon Herzog – You Are the Attractor of Your Experience

Abraham Hicks writes, “The most important thing to remember is that you are the attractor of your experience, and that you are attracting it by virtue of the thoughts that you are offering. Thoughts are magnetic, and as you think a thought, it will attract another and another and another, until eventually you will have a physical manifestation of the vibrational essence of whatever has been the subject of your thoughts.”

Now I don’t know about you, but when Abraham Hicks says, “The most important thing…” I sit up and pay attention. I do the same with our Reverend Kitty. I underlined some of the words above for a reason. There is nothing that remotely suggests that only good things will manifest. Thoughts are magnetic and they attract the manifestation regardless of the nature of those thoughts. I was reminded of this on Sunday while listening to Rev. Christina Garza talk about how to approach the humanitarian crisis on our southern border in a healthy and spiritually constructive way. Thinking about it with outrage, sadness, anger or despair will attract more of that energy to us and to the situation. Remembering and THINKING about the fact that “We are each individual, eternal expressions of God and therefore, inherently good” will attract love to a situation that desperately needs it. That love is all powerful. ALL powerful.

Rev. Garza called us to apply our power and be “Spiritual Liberators” in what can seem like a cruel and hopeless political morass. I respect her story, how well informed she is and also her guidance on how to approach this situation from a grounded perspective of truth and our own power.
