An Awakening World

Greetings Essential Light Workers! (ELW’s for short.) I hope many of you were able to watch our LiveStream service today. If not, I urge you to go to YouTube and watch it. In addition to her message on prosperity, Reverend Kitty offered such comfort and enlightenment on how to process the heartbreak and anger so many are feeling about what happened on January 6th. After the service, I felt more relaxed and optimistic than I have in five days.

“Take a deep breath, Gordy. Spirit has this.”

What I really latched on to this morning was the concept of “An Awakening World.” Often over the last several years – the last four in particular – I have been discouraged about the state of our world and the country that I love so much.  But instead of wallowing in that discouragement, now, more than ever, is a time to stay connected to the concept of being ELW’s, BEING the change that we seek and showing the way forward and upward for our fellow seekers and travelers.

Your Board of Trustees is very excited about our 2021 Fundraiser – “Staging an Awakening World” – and I hope you will click on the link in this eNews and watch the video we prepared to announce it. The potential of expanding and attracting more and more seekers of Universal Spiritual Truth locally, nationally, and around the world is one of the ways of expanding and accelerating the Awakening. I hope you will enthusiastically partner with us as we build this together! Remember that this Fundraiser depends on our generous community donating ON AVERAGE an additional $175 between now and March 31st to what we are already contributing regularly to Unity. As an Accountant, I just can’t help myself: To put this in perspective, this is an increase on average of $58 per month or $15 per week. Some can give more, some might give less, but we are all in this together so please do what you can and what brings you joy. If the timetable is a little tight for you – and I totally get that – please know that any donations received after March 31st will be attributed to the Fundraiser and that you are a valuable partner in this important project regardless of what day it is! Much love and gratitude to you all.
