A Transformational Giving of Thanks

Fall is certainly my favorite season of the year!  As this Fall wanes, Nature has put on her annual fashion show and now rests, awaiting a warming sun of Spring. We have gotten back to a work/school routine (of some sort or another) following a long, lovely summer. And now we are into the season of Gratitude and Thanksgiving! How can it not be your favorite season!

Richard and Mary-Alice Jafolla wrote “Like sunflowers turning toward the sun, giving thanks turns our hearts toward our good.”  As I contemplate everything I have to be grateful for, those thoughts fill my mind like a field filled with such sunflowers.  Feeling gratitude for my blessings, my heart and mind fill with Joy, which inspires me to share my blessings.

In this week of Covid-Thanksgiving, although it may not be your traditional feast filled with loved ones, I invite you to acknowledge and share your thanks. It has been a unique year, and we have much to look forward to as the events of this year transform us and shift our consciousness.  Share or send thoughts of love and gratitude to your family, your Unity friends, your community, state and world. And like a strong magnet, our thanks-giving will attract our good to us.

A joyous Thanksgiving to you all!
