Unity in Naperville

Maureen Talley

President

My desire to be a Board member is rooted in the joy of helping others grow and in turn see my spirit moving forward. This is my quest at Unity, to work with others, learn and grow my internal self and connect with the divine energy of this community. I am excited to serve as Board President to help UIN grow its capacity to engage others.

Susan Rittenhouse

Vice President

I have been a seeker of truth and spirituality for most of my adult life. Unity in Naperville has supported me over the years and I am grateful to my community.  Unity is where my heart feels safe, comfortable and loved.   I recently retired after nearly 30 years of service to the EPA and I now have the time to devote to do the work Spirit is calling me to do.  I have an adult daughter and a magical miniature poodle puppy to share my life.  My hobbies include dogs, animals of all kinds, science, photography, crafts, reading, and most things techie (you will find me in the tech booth most Sundays).

Jill Mattox

Secretary

From the moment we walked into Unity I knew I had found the place we were meant to be all along. This community provides a space not only for incredible spiritual growth, but a whole mind and body transformation, friendships, and a place that feels like home.  In being a part of the board, I aspire to serve our congregation and newcomers and continue to cultivate a space for everyone to feel like family.

Tony Di Sandro

Treasurer

I’m a husband to my wife, Deb Di Sandro, for 40 years and a father of three. Recently retired from a 45-year career in retail, I held roles like Store Manager, District Manager, and Vice President of Store Operations, overseeing $75M in operations, opening new markets, and developing future leaders. After attending services with Reverend Kitty, I felt drawn to Unity’s emphasis on living spiritual principles daily and embracing our Divine potential, as demonstrated by Jesus. I look forward to learning, growing, and supporting others on their own spiritual journeys with Unity.

Gina Fanning

Advisory Board Member

From my first Sunday service with Rev. Kitty at Unity in Naperville, I knew I’d found my spiritual home. I was seeking a community of spiritually like-minded people, and UIN’s core values truly resonated with me. My spiritual journey began in the Catholic Church, where I also served as a Life Teen leader, and it has since expanded to include teachings on prosperity, wholeness, and love from various church leaders and inspiring authors. I value UIN’s incorporation of wisdom from many sources, which has deepened my understanding of what it means to be a spiritual being on a human journey. I’m excited to grow together with this community.

Jeff Bruno

Trustee

I live in Lisle, Illinois and I married Liz Allroth on July 16, 2022 at Unity in Naperville. I was married for 30 years to my high school sweetheart, Josie, and lost her unexpectedly in 2019. I have two adult children, Jessica and Justin. Jessica and her husband, Taylor, have our grand twins Brayden and Jackson who are a year and a half old! I established a 30-yr. career as a Rent-a-Car Manager,  most recently with Sixt Rent a Car where I’m an Area Director of Operations and Expansion. I grew up Catholic my whole life, but in 2020 started to attend Unity with Liz and discovered a new path to God that more aligns with my spiritual beliefs and growth.

Danny Dwyer

Trustee

I have been a long time member of UIN and have served many capacities over the years, but never on the Board of Trustees. To say thank you for all that I have received from Unity I feel that sharing my experiences and Faith would be a good way to lead and serve my Unity Community.
