Maureen Talley

PRESIDENT

My desire to be a Board member is rooted in the joy of helping others grow and in turn see my spirit moving forward. This is my quest at Unity, to work with others, learn and grow my internal self and connect with the divine energy of this community. I am excited to serve as Board President to help UIN grow its capacity to engage others.

SUSAN RITTENHOUSE

VICE PRESIDENT

I have been a seeker of truth and spirituality for most of my adult life. Unity in Naperville has supported me over the years and I am grateful to my community.  Unity is where my heart feels safe, comfortable and loved.   I recently retired after nearly 30 years of service to the EPA and I now have the time to devote to do the work Spirit is calling me to do.  I have an adult daughter and a magical miniature poodle puppy to share my life.  My hobbies include dogs, animals of all kinds, science, photography, crafts, reading, and most things techie (you will find me in the tech booth most Sundays).

JILL MATTOX

SECRETARY

From the moment we walked into Unity I knew I had found the place we were meant to be all along. This community provides a space not only for incredible spiritual growth, but a whole mind and body transformation, friendships, and a place that feels like home.  In being a part of the board, I aspire to serve our congregation and newcomers and continue to cultivate a space for everyone to feel like family.

I have been a seeker of truth and spirituality for most of my adult life and my first experience with a Unity church was when I attended Unity in Oak Park when I moved to the Chicago area after college..  Unity in Naperville has supported me over the years and I am grateful to my community.  Unity is where my heart feels safe, comfortable and loved.   I recently retired after nearly 30 years of service to the Environmental Protection Agency and I now have the time to devote to do the work Spirit is calling me to do.  I have an adult daughter and a magical miniature poodle puppy to share my life.  My hobbies include dogs, animals of all kinds, science, photography, crafts, reading, and most things techie (you will find me in the tech booth most Sundays)

Tony Di Sandro

TREASURER

I am a husband of 40 years to my wife Deb Di Sandro and father of three. I recently retired after 45 years in the retail industry. During my career, I held positions as Store Manager, District Manager and Vice President of Store Operations. Some of my responsibilities included collaborating with many business partners throughout the organization, maintaining P&L responsibilities of a $75M organization, opening new markets across the country, while developing talent to manage those markets.

After attending a few Services with Reverend Kitty, I found that Unity emphasized the importance of spiritual principles in our daily living and that our purpose is to express our Divine potential as realized and demonstrated by Jesus Christ. I felt a connection that I seemed to be missing in my own journey. I hope to continue learning, growing and applying the Unity Principles while helping others in their own journey.

Gina Fanning

ADVISORY BOARD MEMBER

From attendance at my first Sunday Service at UIN with Rev. Kitty, I knew this was my spiritual home. I was in search of a community of spiritually like-minded people and UIN’s core values resonated with me. Before I came to know Unity, my spiritual path included growing up in the Catholic church from childhood well into my adult years and also serving as a leader for its’ Life Teen program. Additionally, I learned of principles of prosperity, wholeness and love from leaders of various churches and many great authors. I appreciate that UIN incorporates quotes and knowledge from many wise teachers. Spiritual growth is a passion of mine, a necessity. I have had my eyes opened to many spiritual principles which have expanded my beliefs and understanding of what it means to be a spiritual being having a human experience. I look forward to growing together with the congregation of UIN.

I live in Lisle, Illinois and I married Liz Allroth on July 16, 2022 at Unity in Naperville. I was married for 30 years to my high school sweetheart, Josie, and lost her unexpectedly in 2019. I have two adult children, Jessica and Justin. Jessica and her husband, Taylor, have our grand twins Brayden and Jackson who are a year and a half old! I established a 30-yr. career as a Rent-a-Car Manager,  most recently with Sixt Rent a Car where I’m an Area Director of Operations and Expansion. I grew up Catholic my whole life, but in 2020 started to attend Unity with Liz and discovered a new path to God that more aligns with my spiritual beliefs and growth.
